When you are in such a situation where you have three wiring diagrams found on google, all saying slightly different things, coupled with a couple of roughly scribbled out diagrams of your own - you do begin to despair at the increasingly more expensive looking paperweight materialising before you.
Having said all that, it does appear that my severe application of logic to the situation may have resulted in the first tests of my Custom Guitar returning a positive result!
No strings yet, but it's making noise in all the right places, and vice-versa. Not bad for a somewhat ambitious first custom guitar project. Fingers crossed for the next test yielding equally useful results!
I'll most likely launch a collage of photography of the finished product up here when it's done.
